ABOUT FWG

The story began in 1991, when Fredy and Anita Wiesner opened their first restaurant in Zurich. With their unconventional ideas, they have invigorated the gastronomy scene and provided a breath of fresh air time and again. Today, it is their sons Daniel and Manuel who are leading the family business into the future with a great deal of passion and new impetus.

At FWG, we are proud of our diversity - be it the range of our restaurant concepts or, in particular, our colorful, unique employees. They are at the heart of our success. With their commitment, they make every visit to our restaurant a special experience.

We believe that extraordinary ideas are born when you have the courage to break new ground. That's why we motivate our team to think innovatively and dare to take original approaches. Of course, not everything always goes according to plan - but that's exactly what inspires us to keep going and constantly improve.

OUR VALUES

Our corporate values are at the heart of FWG. They not only shape our culture, but also ensure that our guests can experience the special FWG spirit.

We are rocket-like

We are determined to achieve our goals and always look ahead. Making mistakes and learning from them is part of our process. We are determined, innovative and opportunity-oriented. We try out different approaches, even if they are not popular, with the aim of moving forward as a company with all our employees. In doing so, we attach great importance to continuously developing and growing.

We are colorful

The diversity of our employees makes us who we are. Different personalities, cultures and backgrounds enrich us and make us curious, creative and dynamic. The different perspectives and ideas that each and every individual brings to the table create a strong, vibrant team.

We are family

Trust is the basis of our cooperation at FWG. We maintain open and honest communication and support each other. Our informal working environment ensures that every employee feels valued and listened to. We are there for each other, live transparency and promote a trusting, supportive community in which we can grow together as a team and as individuals.

We are down-to-earth

We stand for authenticity and transparency. We keep our word and treat each other fairly, which makes us a trustworthy partner for our guests and our team. With both feet firmly on the ground, we remain true to ourselves in everything we do - and also allow ourselves a pinch of humor.

THE SUCCESS STORY OF THE WIESNER FAMILY

What once began as a small café has turned us into a major employer in the Swiss catering industry over the years. Our recipe for success? We are always willing to think outside the box, break new ground and try out innovative concepts. To date (as of 31.12.2023), we have achieved numerous milestones that have shaped our path and that we can look back on with pride:
